How can we effectively use WebSermons to enhance our church web site?

The key to an effective church web site is content. WebSermons lets you quickly and easily add vital sermon content to your church web site to keep visitors returning to fresh content. Instead of requiring a web master to manually add sermons, links and update the web site each week or whenever new sermons become available, WebSermons lets any authorized person (such as a pastor) upload the sermon files and then WebSermons does the rest! To use WebSermons, just sign up and then you can be using WebSermons, usually within 48 hours. Contrast this to the usual method of adding sermons to a church web site. Either someone has to do the usual time-consuming method of editing the HTML files, redesigning them a little each time as the content grows .. and then figure out how to manage the material as it gets larger still. Not anymore with WebSermons! WebSermons does this all for you - all you need to do is fill out a few simple details such as title, date and so on, then upload your content and it is ready! What are the web site requirements for using WebSermons?

Server-side: Linux + Apache + PHP 3 or 4 + MySQL web hosting, FTP access. (We can provide web hosting which meets these requirements.). If you already have a web site, and it does not meet the above requirements, you can still use WebSermons by signing up for a web site hosting package and domain name. WebSermons is designed to run on one server and be accessible from another web site. While more expensive than running on just one web site, this option permits you to retain your existing web site and quickly start using WebSermons.

How do I install WebSermons?

We offer an optional installation service if you purchase web hosting from us. We also provide a detailed installation guide. The process of installation can be completed by any competent webmaster. To use WebSermons on your web site, a number of choices are available: simply include the supplied code or URL link - that's all there is to it! If you use a framed web site, you can choose to make the content appear within a frame. A WebSermons Admin Panel enables full control of your sermons and the presentation style.
Can you install WebSermons for me?

Yes! If you require us to install WebSermons for you, simply check the appropriate box on the order form and we will install WebSermons so you can begin using WebSermons immediately! Please note: this service is only available on web hosting purchased from us, and only covers the first installation. You will still need to administer WebSermons and link it in your own web site.
How do I add content to our web site using WebSermons?

Once WebSermons is installed, just go to the WebSermons Admin URL we provide.
If I want to correct a sermon, how do I change the uploaded file(s)?

If you only wish to correct the date, title, description, author, this may be done using the Edit feature in the Admin page. Otherwise, you will need to first delete the sermon using the Admin page and then upload the sermon files again.
How can I delay sending an email to the mailing list until a later time?

Send the email to yourself or another address! Then resend this email to your list whenever you wish.
